Below you will find detailed information about our ordering processes, the Posh Flowers Guarantee, information about how we ensure your privacy and the security of any information that you provide to us. In addition if for any reason you need to cancel an order or seek a refund/return you will also find our detailed terms and conditions.

Posh Flowers is a retail florist and therefore is open for business between the following hours local Brisbane time.

Saturday 9am to 1pm
Sunday Closed except Mothers Day

 

Delivery

Due to the difficult nature of delivering for the following events/places, Posh Flowers cannot guarantee delivery to certain locations and times.

While we will try our best to make sure that your gift is received at the event/place, we do advise you to include a secondary address for delivery. The recipient of the gift must be available at this address after the end of the event.

Delivery to difficult and remote areas may incur extra delivery, above that already allowed in the gift value. The payment of extra delivery is the responsibility of the customer and orders can not be delivered without such payment.

If a delivery should not be made after a certain time (for example, if the recipient is leaving the hotel), please either provide an alternative delivery address within the same delivery area or advise that the order should be cancelled in the NOTES section at the bottom of an order form.
We do not guarantee delivery to the following timed events:

  • Funerals
  • Wedding Receptions
  • Parties
  • Functions

We do not guarantee delivery to the following place

  • Hospitals (especially Intensive Care Units)
  • Ships
  • Jails
  • Secure Buildings
  • Hotels

Note that if the alternate delivery address is in a different area, and therefore requiring the services of a different supplier, Posh Flowers may not be able to assist with the redirection without wastage and delivery charges being paid to Posh Flowers.

Saturday Same day delivery of flowers can be arranged throughout most of Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland if the order is received before 10am in the recipient's time zone - Rural, restricted and remote deliveries may not have Saturday deliveries. If you are concerned please contact us to confirm delivery details.

Sunday delivery for flowers is generally not available in any country. If Sunday delivery is preferred, it is advised that you make prior arrangements for this delivery with Posh Flowers.

As most couriers do not work on public holidays delivery of flowers is generally not available on public holidays. Orders received on public holidays will be delivered on the next working day - without notice to the customer. The following Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all products and services provided by Posh Flowers. Please make sure you choose carefully as all products are sold on a no refund basis, unless proven to have been damaged. Posh Flowers's return policy on goods that are damaged and accepted by Posh Flowers is to exchange for goods of equal value or to provide a credit towards the purchase of other goods at Posh Flowers's Discretion.

The title of goods shall not pass to the buyer until full payment has been received and cheques are cleared by Posh Flowers. All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation by Posh Flowers. Terms and conditions of payment for the Goods and/or Services are strictly CBD (Cash Before Delivery) unless otherwise agreed and specified on invoice. Payment by other than Cash or Cheque (by prior arrangement only) may attract additional administration charges. Lodging your Credit Card details with Posh Flowers can be used as the method for payment before delivery. Posh Flowers cannot deliver to third party addresses unless otherwise agreed.

Posh Flowers will not be responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit as we use third party couriers. Customers are responsible for any costs incurred by unclaimed goods or refused shipments. If a customer refuses sign and accept for the flowers then we have no option but to return them to our office. Posh Flowers will contact the customer if any event such as this arises. Customers must ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to accept the goods. If no-one is home our courier will call the client with the phone number that was used to register. Posh Flowers will use its best efforts to ensure that delivery is timely but cannot be held liable for any delayed or lost goods as we use third party couriers. All deliveries are made between 9am and 5pm and the sender must ensure someone is at the address to receive the flowers or goods between these times. Unless previously requested flowers or goods will be left at the recipients door, assuming it is safe to do so.

Posh Flowers reserves the right to substitute any item that is out of season or out of stock with a similar item that is equal to or more in value.

Posh Flowers and its affiliates reserve the right to make fair and reasonable substitutions according to the practical availability of specific flower types and containers worldwide. This document outlines Posh Flowers Policy for Order Substitutions as a guideline.

When we receive an order, every effort will be made to create an arrangement of the shape, size and colour and using any flower varieties specified, according to the order description. Specific flower types may be indicated on the order, either by actual description or in the content of an item as shown in the Product Details.

In the case where a specific flower type or colour is unavailable within the given time frame of delivery, substitutions may be made within the arrangement to achieve the same overall shape, style and colour effect and to ensure that the order is delivered on time.

Except where the indicated that there be no substitution, we will always give priority in decreasing order of importance to:

  1. delivery time of the order, followed by
  2. colour preferences, followed by
  3. the overall style of the arrangement, followed by
  4. specific flower varieties

Flowers of a similar shape, size and value but different type and colour may be used if other flowers in the arrangement substitute for that colour and the overall effect of the arrangement is maintained.

In arrangements of a single flower variety (eg rose bouquet), the flower variety will take precedence over colour.

Quality complaints must be received within 2 weeks of delivery. A photo is highly recommended for quick resolution to quality complaints. Non delivery complaints must be received within 2 months of the delivery date. Complaints received after this time frame will be considered on an individual basis.

Posh Flowers encourage their customers to indicate a second choice in their order description to allow for any difficulty in supplying the order to exact specification.

Orders will always be done to the full retail value of the order.

In Accordance with the Privacy Act Posh Flowers does not disclose any personal information collected or stored by Posh Flowers to any third party without your permission, unless Posh Flowers is required to do so by Law or where an unlawful activity is suspected; such as credit card fraud. Posh Flowers does not sell, trade or rent personal information that visitors submit to our websites.

Reminders & Special Offers:

Posh Flowers uses your personal information to process your orders, to help provide a personalised shopping experience and to inform you and your recipients of special offers or discounts, and to process your membership to the Posh Flowers Members club.

Credit card Information:

Credit card information is the most sensitive information that Posh Flowers collects. Posh Flowers uses a Thawte Digital Certificate. This ensures that all information you send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted. If any other Internet user intercepts the communication he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted (garbled) form. Certificate technology allows us to decrypt the information, and view it in plain text form.

Once we have received order and processed your credit card your credit card details are truncated and are not stored on our servers to ensure your security.

Posh Flowers operates from its shop in Jindalee Queensland governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and under the International Treaties Australia is a signatory to.

Posh Flowers are not responsible for deliveries if the recipient is not at the location at the time of delivery. If you are the customer, you must make sure that the recipient will be at the location on the date given on the order form for delivery.

If there is a contact phone number on the order form, the courier may contact the recipient to check if they are attempt to delivery the gift. If there is no phone number provided on the order from, the courier will attempt to delivery the gift on the specified delivery date.

If the recipient is not at the location when the delivery is made, the courier will try to leave a "not at home" card at the recipients location. This card explains the situation and asks the recipient to contact Posh Flowers.

If the courier deems the location to be a "safe" location the item will be left at the address provided. In these cases delivery will be deemed to have been made successfully. If you do not want the order left at the address please ensure this information has been provided in the special instructions field on the order form.

Posh Flowers will do their utmost to deliver the gift at a later date if the recipient replies to the "not at home card". Additional delivery charges may apply if Posh Flowers has to deliver the gift more than once. Alternatively the recipient may have to collect the order at our premises.

Posh Flowers cannot canel any order that has already been made up even if the order has not been delivered. If the cancellation request is made before make up the you may be able to cancel the order. No guarantee is provided that the order can be cancelled./p>

It is not normally policy to refund the price of the product. However as every customer and gift are individual, (and therefore may require a decision on a case-by-case basis), please contact us so that we can determine the best solution to the problem.

Posh Flowers may offer to provide other solutions, such as resending the gift, or resending a different gift of the same value.
